SHARJAH SCIENCE MUSEUM

Sharjah Science Museum is the first interactive Science and Technology Centre in the UAE. The exhibition hall is designed to stimulate the visitor's curiosity about the world around them. It contains hands-on exhibits that cover a wide range of topics, from human performance to the physics of rotating objects. Visitors can continue their exploration by taking part in the science demonstrations or the planetarium shows.The learning center with its modern science and computer labs provides curriculum-related workshops to school, on a pre-book basis. At the museum, children and adults can have fun while learning.

The museum comprises three exhibiting halls where there is the exploring area, science lab and computer lab and they are all well equipped to introduce various workshops for different learning levels.

Space show

In the sky of Sharjah the visitor will be accompanied by the guide in his journey in the space starting by the solar system to know the secret of this amazing globe to know the location of the stars and to learn that most of these names of starts are originally Arabic names and they have their life cycle, just living things when produced and when passes away.

Static electricity show

Here the visitor will see and feel the effect of electric charge when used through Van De Graf device upon the body.

Physical law temperature show

In this show the guide will try to dispose each material of its trait and when using a sort of very cold gas the result is that many organisms truned to the solid states, a slight touch could smash the flower into pices and a pice of rubber could become a stone.

The magic show Have you ever saw a glass keeping its water even when it is turned upside down ?....or a balloon starts to pump up without being puffed ? What about seeing a liquid that keeps changing its colour by itself ? All these thrilling shows and many more magic acts would be introduced and explained to the visitors here.
