INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CENTRE

This center is responsible for the implementation of the technical information in the Department as well as observing the following:

- Operating the computers, networks and system programs.

- giving all possible assistance to the employees and trainees and help them to overcome their difficulties.

- Making copies of all documents and programs that are in use in order to avoid any loss due to a break down of the system. The copying is done regularly and systematically.

- Follow up of the regular operations and maintenance of computers.

- Observation of the process of developing and designing the programs with the firm entrusted to this work and assuring the firm's commitments and agreements as per the contracts and the suitability of the developed programs to the Department.

- The working out of an annual plan and estimating budgets to fulfill the requirements and accommodate the service appliances as well as various other maintenance works concerning the computers and programs.

- Co-operation with the establishment entrusted with the information technology in the Department pursuing to carry on its suggestions and proposals after getting the accession from the General Manager.

- Regular reporting to the General Manager and updating him with the work advancements and proposing any amendments or enhancements when and where it is required.
