Requests from other Arab countries
to organize cultural weeks in those countries are
welcomed by the Department. This programme open to
not only to the Pan Arab countries but also to other
Islamic and foreign countries. The Government of Sharjah
believes that there is a real need and desire for
such an international cultural exchange programme
in order to revive human values and cultural tolerance
especially in the context of the present situation
The Department of Culture & Information had signed
agreements with authorities of many Arab and foreign
countries for organizing cultural exchange programmes.
The agreement covers exchange of publications, conducting
exhibitions, organizing cultural meetings & dialogues
in addition to planning of intellectual and scientific
programmes. |
