The Cultural Personality Award is given to a selected distinguished person/ organization/ firm whose cultural/literary/social contribution to the society is found to be of high caliber and invaluable, deserving rightful appreciation and recognition.

The Selection Committee will look into various recommendations, verify the nominee's activities for the current year and will thoroughly study the professionalism and dedication applied by the nominee in his activities. The nominee's involvement in the day-to-day cultural activities shall also be taken into consideration before choosing the right cultural personality of the year.

The name of the award winner shall be declared before the beginning of Sharjah International Book Fair every year.

The award distribution ceremony will take place during the current SIBF.
