ART SQUARE

The Art square and its auxiliaries, such as the Poetry House, the Music House, Al Nadwa House, the Heritage House, the Games House, etc . are built to make them useful for the cultural and artistic movement and interaction in the Emirate.

The Poetry House (nabati) is the venue where many poets gather to present their poetic presentations, annual festivals as well as lectures and symposiums on poetries. A library provided with poetic works and collections is available for researchers and other interested people. Moreover the hall of the Poetry house is also used for other artistic and cultural events organized throughout the year. Priority is of course given to poetical events and festivals.

The Music House is for organizing the musical activities, concerts of vocal music, etc. It supports the talented youth in improving their abilities.

Dar Al Nadwa holds cultural symposiums, artistic programs as well as intellectual conferences and lectures.

The House of popular heritage encompasses samples of old heritage tools that form the Emirate and the region's perpetual heritage, which are of great interest to the enthusiastic visitors.

The House of Popular Games that overlooks the Arts Square is to animate popular games of the past and present. A group of well trained children present and performed their shows in those games during social and national occasions and furthermore their activity extends to cover many festivals organized in and out of the country.
