This is an originative unique rafter that links the
Arabic civilization with the world. It gives great
importance to perfection of fine arts and Arabic visual
culture of both present and past. It focuses on the
empirical aspects of fine arts, the enhancing methods
and tools of research in the contemporary art, and
publicizing plastic art in and out the pan Arab world
by the diffusion of these various forms of arts through
the artistic and cultural exchange programme, through
publications, conferences, symposiums and through
participations in the international exhibitions and
festivals.

remarkable support to the artistic process is clearly
visible through critique and studies and through the
exchange of experience with other similar international
art centers. The emphasize is given to the Arabic inventor's
real and effective role in the international artistic
briskness and the human's aesthetical achievement.
The Center was established in Sharjah in April 2000
to co-ordinate the efforts among the artistic organs
in the local, Arabic and international framework.
The Center works according to plans, formulating the
programmes and activities in relation to research
shows, documentation, or production of visual cultural
programmes.
The center publishes a magazine that focuses on both
visual culture and issues of contemporary plastic
art and endeavors to produce TV programs and films
known as the Arabic art and innovators issues. Beside
this the center also attempts assigning series of
annual awards and international competitions. |
