Al RAFED MAGAZINE

The magazine started its publication in November 1993 as a quarterly, which later got published in every two months. Since the year 2000 Al Rafed became a monthly publication. It covers all current Arab intellectual and cultural affairs including literature, art, translations, cinema and drama, with special sections for poetry and short stories. A number of prominent writers regularly contribute to the magazine through their write-ups and presentations. Al Rafed magazine is recognized as one of the most significant cultural publication in and out of the UAE.

The magazine is available in all leading UAE libraries and also in the libraries of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Yemen, Morocco, Syria, Sudan and Jordan.

Subscribing to the magazine is simple and through sending us the attached form, duly filled, along with the annual subscription fee of US$ 40/- for individuals and US$ 60/- for government establishments. The cheque should be made in the name of 'The Department of Culture & Information, Sharjah'.
