AFRICA HALL

This old hall was established to host important events at a time when there were no well equipped halls available in Sharjah. It was known to be the main venue for some major intellectual, cultural and literary events. The first event that was organized in this hall, which was opened in 1976, was a symposium titled "The Arab-African relations", due to which it got its name "Africa Hall".

Africa hall can seat up to 600 people and is considered as one of the cultural symbols in the Emirate because it had witnessed a number of very important cultural events.

The hall is still a venue for a number cultural activities of private schools as well as for celebrations held by Islamic and Arab communities.
